Provides post-sales technical services to Bridge Pointe Software, Inc. clients within the European community. The support shall primarily consist of delivering high-level services and coordinating with Bridge Pointe Software, Inc. development organization to communicate customer requirements. Must be self-sufficient, have strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact with senior management and possess excellent presentation and communication skills. Based in Hamburg, Germany, the candidate should be fluent in English and preferably 1 or 2 other European languages. Regular travel to and communication with corporate headquarters in Silicon Valley, California is required. The candidate must be proficient with the following PC (Windows) applications: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Exchange. Required skills will be C++, ActiveX, Java, Win32, SDK, Network Program, Visual Basic, Microsoft Access, Windows OS 3.1, WFW3.11, API CALLS, Client Server (Oracle), SQL, Imaging, networking and Compression Algorithms. Must be efficient and effective at territory development. Must be able to partner effectively with enterprise application developers, System Integrators, VAR’s and hardware vendors. Must be able to demonstrate the company’s products and answer questions raised by customers about integration, training and installation. Ability to function in a start-up environment. Exceptional teamwork skills. Must have an ability to distill large amounts of information into targeted pieces for the sales channels. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Has the ability to be aggressive about their duties yet work with a wide variety of people and maintain personable relationships with all customers.
